The old U.S. Liberty Nickel coin price list below lists prices for Liberty Nickels in various levels of condition. Coins wear down from circulation and the amount of wear will vary for each coin according to how long the coin was in circulation and how well stored the coin has been over the years since it was removed from circulation. Some coins are so rare and collectible that they have a very high value even if they are in the worst possible condition! The condition of coins is the main factor to consider when estimating the value of coins. There are 7 main levels of quality for coins with 70 possible condition levels categorized and classified on a numercial scale from Cull 1 to Perfect 70! Estimate the value of your coins below
Keep in mind, even seemingly ugly coins could be considered to be nice quality coins by collectors who are in the know. Even a mint condition uncirculated coin could be of an ugly color or may have several blemishes. It is not the color of a coin or how clean a coin is that determines the qualiy level, the condition level will depend mostly upon how many of the original design features are still present on the coin. A coin you might consider to be in bad condition may actually be a high grade coin. A coin you may consider to be in mint condition might be a nice circulated coin. Be sure to see details about the Picgrade system (comparing your coin to pictures of coins in various condition levels) More details on the Picgrade system are listed beneath the following U.S. coin price list
One more note, never clean coins! Cleaning coins will usually decrease the value!

COIN VALUE INFORMATION ~ COIN PRICES ~ COIN PRICE LIST ~ U.S. COIN ESTIMATES ~ ONLINE COIN PRICING INFORMATION
You are asking the question "Where can I find the value of coins?" or "how do i find coin values?" ~ The question you should be asking is "Can I find the value of coins?". The answer to is not easily and not on your own. So far you have been exaclty that, on your own, but this site will help you to estimate the value of rare coins. While we can not guarantee the value of your coins without seeing them, we can teach you how to be guaranteed that you get the absolute fair price when you sell your coin. If you have found, inherited or purchased a rare / collectible / silver or gold coin in the past, the values have increased dramatically over the past few years, largely due to the release of newer types of coins ( even the new ones are already suprisingly quite valuable) The older style coins always gain in value when they go out of production.
This will be repeated quite often, do not go to a local coin shop to get an estimate for your rare coins! If you have a very valuable coin or collection, you are the loser as soon as you walk into the shop as you may be talked into selling a very valuable coin for a very low / unfair price, be careful and don't trust local coin shops to tell you the value of rare coins!
VERY IMPORTANT! You do not want to just walk into a coin shop and say "I have a coin in good condition". That is the first mistake, also the worst mistake! From that point, you are trapped. "Good condition" is the term used to describe the second lowest condition on the coin grading scale!
The study and purchasing of coins is a science, a science known as Numismatics. The poeple who sell and purchase coins for a living (Numismatists / Coin Scientists) have many years of experience and you are no challenge at all if you have never dealt with coins.
IF YOU HAVE COIN OR COLLECTION WHICH YOU FEEL IS MOST LIKELY VERY RARE AND VALUABLE HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO!
When you click on the link above, you are doing the right thing. Do not risk losing a fortune if your coin is rare and very valuabel and you do not have the coin certified and sold by the most professional coin merchant in the world, you stand to lose! When I sell coins I find, I sell them in this manner as I want the most money I can get for my coins!
VERY IMPORANT CERTIIFICATION AND SELL OF COINS
(ABOVE ALL, READ THIS) Even after you have estimated the condition level and price for your coins, I strongly advise you to have your coin or collection certified before you sell just in case it is a truly rare and highly valuable coin or collection of coins. There is no up front cost to you when you use the link I am providing, you can have your coins certified and marketed by the worlds top coin advertiser.
